The Pradhan of Belun Dhamasin Gram Panchayat is personally present in Court.

A copy of the reasoned order dated 20th June, 2022 passed by the Pradhan has been handed over in Court today.

It appears therefrom that after consideration of the representation of the petitioners and after giving opportunity of hearing to both the parties, the Pradhan was of the opinion that there is an illegal construction made by the private respondents. The Pradhan directed for demolition of the alleged illegal construction. Copy of the reasoned order has duly been forwarded to the Block Development Officer, District Magistrate, Hooghly, Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, Chinsurah, Hooghly by electronic mail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that copy is yet to be handed over to the petitioners.

Learned advocate appearing for the Pradhan is directed to hand over a copy of the reasoned order to the learned advocate for the petitioners.

As it appears that the order passed by the Court has been complied with by the contemnor, albeit, at a deleted date, there is no requirement of proceeding with the contempt application any further.

The contempt application stands disposed of.

The Contempt Rule stands discharged.

The reasoned order dated 20th June, 2022 be retained with the records.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
