At the very outset, Mr. Bhattacharya, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the writ petitioners submits before this Court that he will file requisite numbers of court fees for the 19 numbers of writ petitioners within seven working days from today.

It is submitted on behalf of the writ petitioners that the writ petitioners' land, particulars of which have been mentioned in paragraph no. 2 of the instant writ petition have been acquired long back but no compensation has been paid.

Drawing attention to Page nos. 36 to 44 of the instant writ petition, being copies of the various representations as made by the writ petitioners on 16.04.2025, it is submitted by Mr. Bhattacharya that despite submission of such representation nothing has been done by the respondent no. 2/authority. It is thus submitted that appropriate relief/reliefs may be granted to the writ petitioners in terms of the prayers as made in the instant writ petition.

Mr. Dhar, learned senior advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent/State in his usual fairness submits before this Court that the respondent no. 3/authority may be directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioners in accordance with law.

In view of such, this Court while disposing the instant writ petition directs the respondent no. 3/authority to consider the representations dated 16.04.2025 in accordance with law and after giving due chance of hearing to the writ petitioners and/or their authorized representatives shall pass a reasoned order and shall forthwith communicate the same to the writ petitioners and/or their authorized representatives preferably by email, if the email details of the writ petitioners are provided to him at the time of hearing.

The entire exercise as indicated hereinabove is to be completed by the respondent no. 3/authority within 90 working days from the date of communication of the server copy of this order.

Liberty is given to the learned advocate on record for the writ petitioner to communicate the server copy of this order to the respondent no. 3/authority forthwith. 8.

The respondent no. 3/authority is hereby directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order. 9.

The time limit as fixed by this Court is mandatory and peremptory.

10. With the aforementioned observations, the instant writ petition being WPA 16406 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
