This application is filed for a direction of expeditious disposal of Complaint Case No.1497 of 2022 under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, now pending before the learned 2nd Chief Judicial Magistrate at Barasat, North 24 Parganas.

It is the contention of the petitioner that this case is pending for a long period and the same may be disposed of expeditiously.

Upon considering the relief prayed for, this Court is of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served by keeping this matter pending. Thus, this revisional application is disposed of with a direction to the learned 2nd Judicial Magistrate at Barasat, North 24 Paraganas to dispose of the Complaint Case No.1497 of 2022 under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from

Domestic Violence Act, 2005, within a period of two months from the next date fixed without granting any unnecessary adjournment.
