1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner claims to be the recorded owner of plot no. 515. Electricity connection is not being provided to him allegedly because an objection was filed by one Amar Malik requesting the Distribution Company Limited not to grant electricity connection over plot nos. 498 and 499.

3. The petitioner submits that the electric pole may be installed over his private land.

4. The Station Manager, West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, Masat Bazar is directed to take steps for providing electricity connection in the premises of the petitioner over his private plot of land. If required, the officer may seek assistance from the police

subject to payment of charges by the petitioner. Connection shall be provided subject to compliance of all necessary formalities upon payment of necessary charges.

5. Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.

7. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
