The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the deceased wife of the petitioner was in a relatioship with another person. Such person was putting pressure upon the deceased wife. It is out such pressure that the deceased wife committed suicide. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

In response to a query from the Court, learned advocate for the State produces mobile phone data which shows the deceased wife with the other person, which the petitioner speaks of. Considering the materials in the case diary and considering the gravity of the offence and the complicity of the petitioner, therein, we grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The prayer for anticipatory is, thus, allowed.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and on further condition that the petitioner shall meet the Investigating Officer once in a month until further orders.
