1.The petitioner's prayer seeking compensation on account of drawing high tension overhead line over his private plot of land is pending consideration at the end of the District Magistrate, Paschim Bardhaman.

2. The high-tension line has been drawn by WBSETCL.

3. As it appears that the prayer of the petitioner seeking compensation is pending consideration at the end of the District Magistrate for a considerable period of time, accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Magistrate, Paschim Bardhaman to consider and dispose of the same in accordance

with law after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the representative of the Transmission Company Limited at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the parties immediately thereafter.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
