Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that pursuant to the information being received by Ghatal Police Station, a case being Ghatal PS Case No. 130/2025 has been registered for investigation under section 85/115(2)/109(1)/316(2)/3(5) of BNS, 2023.

The main grievance of the petitioner now is that none of the stridhan articles have been recovered by the police authorities.

Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, on the basis of allegedly false information, the case was initiated and the police authorities have arrived at their final opinion. Necessary processes have been prayed for before the jurisdictional Court for taking steps against the complainant.

In view of the present stage of the case, I direct that the petitioner would approach before the jurisdictional Magistrate to ventilate her grievance, particularly with regard to the conclusion arrived at by the Investigating Agency, if so advised. In case any application is filed, learned Magistrate would within a scheduled period of time consequently dispose of the same.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 16452 of 2025 is disposed of.
