Approximately, 108 kgs. of Ganja was recovered from the joint possession of 10 accused persons including this petitioner. In view of the restriction in Section 37 of the NDPS Act and prima facie incriminating materials against the petitioner, we are not inclined to entertain her prayer for bail. CRM (NDPS) 1090 of 2024 is dismissed.

We are told that witness action has been completed. July 22, 2024, has been fixed as the date for examination of the accused under Section 313 of Cr.P.C. Learned advocate for the petitioner says that a direction may be passed for expeditious disposal of the trial by delivering final judgment. In view of the fact that the petitioner has been in custody for about 1 year 7 months and that she is a lady, we direct the learned Trial Court to ensure that on the date fixed, the accused persons are examined under Section 313 Cr.P.C.
