Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in excess of six months. No specific role of the petitioner can be garnered in the facts of the present case.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor draws the attention of the Court to the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. He submits that the petitioner played an active role in the incident.

Considering the materials in the case diary and considering the role of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail, C.R.M. 7260 of 2021, is rejected.
