The same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that FIR being No. 327 of 2022 has been registered by the Kharagpur (Town) Police Station, Paschim Medinipur, under Sections 306/506/34 of the IPC.

It is submitted that the deceased died of COVID-19 and hence there is no question of post mortem. The deceased was also suffering from mouth cancer at that relevant point of time. The private respondents are on bail and investigation is on.

Let the investigation into the subject FIR be completed within a period of one month from date and a final report be submitted to the Jurisdictional Magistrate as expeditiously as possible.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

The personal presence of the IC, Kharagpur (Town) Police Station, Paschim Medinipur, on virtual mode, is dispensed with.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
