Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Petitioner retired on superannuation on 31st October, 2004 but retiral dues including pension were not paid to the petitioner within reasonable time prompting the petitioner to file writ petition being WPA 10795 of 2013. Said writ petition was disposed of vide order dated 2nd May, 2013 by a Co-ordinate Bench directing the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Bankura being respondent no.3 herein to release terminal benefits to the petitioner within 31st May, 2013 including arrears together with an interest at the rate of nine per cent per annum on arrear amount from the date terminal benefits were due to be paid to the petitioner till the actual date of payment.

Subsequently, petitioner had to initiate contempt proceedings being CPAN 928 of 2014 which was disposed of by a Co-ordinate Bench vide order dated 7th January, 2025 in view of compliance of the order

dated 2nd May, 2013 passed by another Co-ordinate Bench on the writ petition being WPA 10795 of 2013. 4.

Petitioner by filing this writ petition has made a prayer for payment of further interest due to delay caused in releasing the amount in terms of the order dated 2nd May, 2013. However, on perusal of the order dated 7th January, 2025 passed in the contempt proceedings it appears that the Co-ordinate Bench disposed of the contempt proceedings on recording satisfaction that order dated 2nd May, 2013 was complied with. On perusal of the order dated 7th January, 2025 it does not appear leave was granted to the petitioner to raise dispute regarding payment of interest.

Hence, on this writ petition no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

Writ petition stands dismissed.
