The petitioner alleges violation of the direction passed in the order dated September 14, 2021. By the said order the writ petition stood disposed of by directing the Sub-Divisional Controller, Food & Supplies, Kharagpur, Paschim Medinipur to intimate the fate of the earlier application filed by the petitioner for obtaining FPS dealership.

The Sub-Divisional Controller, Food & Supplies, Kharagpur, Paschim Medinipur by a communication dated October 4, 2021 intimated the petitioner that his application dated October 29, 2014 has been cancelled by the Joint Secretary, Food & Supplies Department, Government of West Bengal vide Memo dated August 17, 2015. The copy of the cancellation order was also

enclosed with the aforesaid letter dated October 4, 2021. The petitioner was intimated that if he submits requisite papers properly, then he will be intimated with regard to the re-notification for filling the FPS vacancy at Kankra Gram Panchayat.

Today the learned advocate representing the contemnor has produced before this Court a document dated June 15, 2022 signed by the Sub-Divisional Controller, Food & Supplies, Kharagpur and Ex-officio Assistant Director whereby the petitioner has been intimated to remain present on June 18, 2022 at 4 p.m. at the venue mentioned therein with all original copies of the required corroborative documents as per the provisions of the Control Order, 2013. Copy of the said communication has been handed over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner.

As it appears that the order of this Court has been complied with, accordingly, no further order is required to be passed in the present contempt application. It will be open for the petitioner to act in accordance with the communication dated June 15, 2022.

Copy of the report dated 15th June, 2022 filed by the Sub-Divisional Controller, Food & Supplies, Kharagpur, & Ex-Officio Assistant Director in Court today be retained with the records.

Personal appearance of the contemnor, Avijit Bej, Sub-Divisional Controller, Food & Supplies, Kharagpur, Paschim Medinipur is dispensed with.

The Contempt Rule stands discharged.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties after completion of all legal formalities.
