Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated. There was delay in lodgment of the FIR.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that the de facto complainant suffered abortion. The police complaint was lodged within 8 months of the marriage. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the fact that police complaint was lodged against the petitioner within 8 months of marriage, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

CRM (A) 3652 of 2022 is dismissed.
