Affidavit-of-service and the supplementary affidavit filed in Court today be kept on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner, in his usual fairness, submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, the bank has disbursed the amount of pension which was due to the petitioner, thereby rendering the writ petition otherwise infructuous.

However, with leave of court, a supplementary affidavit is filed by the petitioner, seeking a direction on the respondent-bank to consider a representation dated July 21, 2022, annexed thereto.

In the said representation, the crux of the request of the petitioner is that the petitioner can only repay the previous agricultural loan taken from the bank, if the bank sanctions a further loan to the petitioner.

However, such request is preposterous, since one loan cannot be repaid with the amount obtained from another loan.

Thus, there is no occasion for directing the bank to consider the said representation of the petitioner.

Hence, the petitioner is not entitled to get any relief on such score.

WPA No. 17603 of 2021 is disposed of as infructuous.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
