The petitioner complains that notwithstanding complaint dated 07/04/2021 the Bakultala Police Station has not attended to the grievance of theft and damage of crops on his land by the private respondents.

Counsel for the State produces instructions of the Officer-in-charge of the Bokultala Police Station, which is kept with the record. It is submitted that on the first complaint dated 05/04/2021, enquiries made did not establish any theft of damage to the crops. However a second complaint dated 18/07/2021 has been attended to and registered as FIR being Bakultala PS case no. 176/21 dated 18/07/2021 under Sections 447/307/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act and Sections 3/4 of the ES Act.

In that view of the matter, it is ordered that the said investigation be completed by the Investigating Officer of the Bakultala Police Station within one month from the date of receipt of this copy of this order and final report be submitted to the jurisdictional Magistrate.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 17605 of 2021 is, accordingly, disposed of.
