The petitioner superannuated from service from the Khadimpur Girls High Schools on 31st May, 2018. She has applied for pension, and a provisional pension has been allowed to her.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that despite all documents having been submitted by the school to the District Inspector of School, Dakshin Dinajpur, her pension papers have not been processed.
The petitioner has made a representation to the Commissioner of School Education, the District Inspector of School, Dakshin Dinajpur as also the Director, Government of West Bengal, Finance Department, Pension, Provident Fund, Gratuity & Group Insurance on 12th September, 2019, which has not been disposed of till date.
In that view of the matter, this Court directs the District Inspector of School, Dakshin Dinajpur, to dispose of the petitioner's representation and take a
suitable decision on the processing of the petitioner's pension papers within a period of one month from the date of communication of a copy of this order. If the pension papers are in order, the District Inspector of School, Dakshin Dinajpur, shall make an appropriate communication to the Director, Government of West Bengal, Finance Department, Pension, Provident Fund, Gratuity & Group Insurance, for issuance of appropriate PPO.
If any clarifications or otherwise are required by the District Inspector of School, Dakshin Dinajpur, the same shall be communicated to the Teacher-in-Charge of the concerned school, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
