The election as per the order passed by the Cooperative Election Commission on 2nd November, 2022 for holding the Election process de novo is yet to be concluded.
It has been submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that several illegalities took place at the instance of the special officer. Without going into the allegations made by the petitioner, as it appears that there is already a direction passed by the election commission for conducting the election de novo, accordingly, the Commission is directed to take steps to conduct and conclude the election strictly in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
