At the time of hearing of this contempt application learned advocate representing the applicant submits that the sole applicant died on 17th December, 2017 requiring substitution of heirs of the applicant of the contempt application. Alleged contemnor is represented by learned advocate today.

In view of the submission made on behalf of the applicant in the substitution application, substitution application is allowed thereby substituting heirs of the contempt applicant in place and stead of the applicant in the contempt application since applicants are sui juris and major. Department is directed to amend the cause title of the contempt application in terms of paragraph 3 of the substitution application and

substitute the names of the heirs of the contempt applicant in place and stead of the contempt applicant within seven days from date.

The learned advocate representing the applicants is directed to cooperate with the department.

Accordingly, the substitution application being IA NO:

CAN 1/2018 (Old No:

CAN 1246/2018) stands disposed of.

List the contempt application under the same heading for further consideration in the monthly combined list of February, 2024.
