Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws attention of the Court to the averments made in the first paragraph of the petition and to the fact that the petitioner approached the High Court earlier by CRM 417 of 2019 which was rejected on January 14, 2019.

The first paragraph of the petition states that the petitioner is approaching the Court for the first time.

In fact the petitioner approached the High Court by CRM 417 of 2019 which was rejected on January 14, 2019. There is a finding in the order dated January 14, 2019 to the effect that the petitioner is the principal accused.

Considering the contents of the order dated January 14, 2019 passed in CRM 417 of 2019 and considering the false statement made by the petitioner in this petition and considering the fact that there is hardly any change in circumstances in favour of the petitioner subsequent to the earlier order of rejection, we are not inclined to grant bail tot he petitioner. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM 7279 of 2021 is, accordingly, dismissed.
