Petitioner claims that he happens to be the owner of the property and in spite of persuasion, the B.L. & L.R.O. keeping the issues alive are passing necessary directions upon the authorities for which the petitioner has to sacrifice his part of the land for the work order to be executed by the PHE Authorities. To that effect, information was furnished to the police authorities, but the police authorities did not take any action. So far as the issue relating to land is concerned, the same is absolutely the domain of the concerned authorities and this Court has got nothing to interfere in respect of the orders passed. Petitioner has remedy to approach the appropriate authorities and as information was furnished to the police authorities on or about

24.02.2024 wherein a General Diary Entry was recorded.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects that the central scheme was being implemented and the same was pursuant to the directions passed by the administration. However, the petitioner has resisted the same.

Be that as it may, one of the accusations made by the petitioner relate to some land brokers and local anti social threatening the petitioner and creating disturbance of the labours of the petitioner. Police authorities would only see to the extent that if any individual who is not associated with the Government tries to take the law in his own hand, the police authorities would ensure that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility at the locale or any untoward incident resulting from such flexing of muscle at the behest of the private individual. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 17510 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
