Learned advocate for the petitioner submits before this Court that he has been falsely implicated in this case. While opposing the prayer for bail, learned advocate for the State draws our attention to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as to the medical examination report of the victim.

In our considered opinion, the material which is placed before us, shows the commission of the crime wherein prima facie involvement of the present accused petitioner cannot be ruled out. Accordingly, we are not inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for bail, at this stage. The application for bail being CRM (DB) 2132 of 2024 is, thus, dismissed.
