The petitioners are aggrieved by the factum of interim compensation being granted by the Learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 11th Court, Calcutta. Additionally, the issues which have been canvassed relate to debt and/or liability.

Having regard to the contents of the same, I find that Learned Magistrate has acted within his powers by imposing the amount as interim maintenance under Section 143(A) of the N.I. Act.

So far as the issues otherwise canvassed, the same are question of facts, which cannot be interfered with at this stage.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2589 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of.
