Order dictated by Partha Sarathi Sen, J.:

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the instant bail application may be considered favourably considering the long detention of the petitioner.

Prayer for bail has been opposed on behalf of the State. 3.

On perusal of the entire materials of the case diary, it reveals that the Autopsy Surgeon after conducting post mortem examination found that the death was due to strangulation. There are sufficient incriminating materials as against the present accused petitioner to connect him with the alleged crime. 4.

Considering the serious nature of the alleged crime, we are not inclined to exercise our discretion in favour of the present accused petitioner.

CRM (DB) 2149 of 2024 is, thus, dismissed.

Before parting, we request the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial as much as possible.
