Mr. Krishnendu Bera ..... for the petitioner Mr. Sandip Kumar Bhattacharyya ...... for respondent No. 6 Mr. Malay Singh Ms. Neelam Singh ...... for the State The writ petitioner claims that she joined at Court No. 22 14.11.2022 (Item No. 36) (AB) the post of Lecturer at Desh Bandhu College for Girls' on July 2, 1981 and retired from his service from Netaji Institute for Asian Studies on July 31, 2007. The petitioner has not received her due pension for her employment career.

Krishnendu Bera, learned advocate appearing for the writ petitioner submits that, series of writ litigation took place at this Court. Finally the pension has been computed by the respondent No. 4 and a memorandum was issued accordingly on April 19, 2021, Annexure P-7 to the writ petition. The pension payable according to such computation to the petitioner is Rs.81,150/-. Even after this pension amount being crystallized on revision in terms of 6th Pay Commission, for receiving the said revised pension the petitioner had to travel pillar to post. The

revision under the 6th Pay Commission was effected on and from January 1, 2020.

In view of the above, the respondent No. 4 is directed to take immediate steps for payment and disbursement of the revised pension in terms of his own computation dated April 19, 2021, Annexure P-7 to the writ petition and to pay the petitioner accordingly including all arrears calculating thereupon positively within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order. The respondent No. 4 thereafter shall go on and continue to pay the pension of the petitioner in terms of its computation dated April 19, 2021 without any delay or default.

Since affidavits are not called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.

On the above terms, this writ petition being WPA 17112 of 2022 stands disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent certified photo copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
