The petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondent authorities to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 2nd July, 2025 praying for transfer of the leasehold rights in favour of her father. In the event the decision on the representation dated 2nd July, 2025 has not been communicated to the petitioner till date, the Land Manager, Department of Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Government of West Bengal shall take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 2nd July, 2025 and communicate the reasoned order to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a server copy of this order. In the event the respondent authority contemplates any adverse decision, an opportunity of hearing shall be
provided to the petitioner or her authorized representative.
With the above observation, WPA 16559 of 2025 stands disposed of.
There shall be however no order as to costs.
Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
