The petitioner has addressed a letter to the CESC submitting a proposal for alternative places for installation of his meter.

Counsel for the CESC submits that particulars of surrendered meters have not been given till date. In that view of the matter, since the parties are trying to work on an amicable settlement, if possible, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

The report in the form of instructions dated 29th January, 2023 issued by the O.C., Hare Street Police Station, Kolkata Police addressed to the Government Pleader is taken on record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
