This writ petition was preferred seeking a direction upon the respondents to treat the service of the petitioners as regularized with effect from 15.3.1990 and to give benefit of seniority in favour of the petitioners. The writ petition was filed in the year 2007.

I am of the view that with the passage of time, this writ petition has become infructuous.

In view thereof, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. All connected applications, if any, are also dismissed.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
