Perused the report of the OSD & ex-officio Joint Secretary dated 30th July, 2025. It appears therefrom that the private respondent is a better qualified candidate that that of the petitioner. The private respondent has qualification in the Madrasah Education System, which is better than that of the petitioner.

The private respondent has been selected for the post of MMR.

Learned advocate for the petitioner contends that the mode of selection of candidates was not mentioned in the advertisement.

Learned advocate representing the State respondents has drawn attention of the Court to the notice published by the District Registrar, Birbhum pursuant to which the appointment took place. It

appears therefrom that the candidates were required to annex documents in support of their educational qualification.

It appears that the authority perused the documents submitted by the parties and on relevant assessment found the private respondent to be better qualified than that of the petitioner. The private respondent has been recommended for the post of MMR.

The Court does not find any reason to interfere in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.
