For the State Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody for more than 200 days and pray for bail. There was property dispute between the parties and case and counter case are pending. Both the parties sustained injuries.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record.

The petitioners have been specifically implicated by the injured witnesses as well as eye witnesses. Three persons were injured one of whom succumbed to his injuries. The injuries are also serious in nature. The petitioners are in custody for about 200 days. Offence, if proved, shall attract mandatory life imprisonment.

Considering the gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioners therein, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

Case diary be returned.

The application for bail is disposed of.
