On the other hand, learned advocate for the private respondent(s) submits that the petitioner has been residing in his own residence and there were earlier incidents pursuant to which the petitioner suo motu left his residence.

State has submitted a report prepared by the Officer-in-charge of Gosaba Police Station. The report reflects

that the petitioner confirmed about the amicable settlement and declined to pursue any legal action against his children.

Having considered the report of the police authorities and the insecurity faced by the petitioner, I am of the view that in case the petitioner comes up with a fresh complaint, the police authorities would consider the same in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 16575 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
