Versus
State of West Bengal & Ors.
Mr. Shamik Bagchi Mr. Syed Murshid Alam Mr. Farhad Malik Mr. Subrata Ghosh Ms. Amrita Sen Mr. Debrup Chowdhury ...for the Petitioner.
Mr. Jayanta Samanta, Jr. Govt. Adv.
Mr. Arunava Maity ...for the State.
Affidavit of service filed be kept with the record.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved regarding the inaction of the police authorities. Petitioner complains that he was given threat at the behest of the private respondent. Learned advocate for the State submits that earlier in respect of the self-same subject matter of dispute, WPA 18536 of 2021 was preferred. Certain observations have been made in the said order passed by the Co-ordinate Bench.
Having considered that the police authorities are well aware regarding the nature of the dispute, police authorities would ensure that
there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility and/or any untoward incident resulting because of the inimical relationship existing between the parties.
With the aforesaid observations WPA 16606 of 2025 is disposed of.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
