The petitioner seeks the benefit under the exempted category in respect of the recruitment process initiated by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education in the year 2022.

The certificate relied upon by the petitioner to get the benefit under the exempted category was issued in the year 2024. The recruitment process of the Board started prior to the date of issuance of the exempted category certificate. Appointments have also been given.

In view of the above submission, the benefit claimed for by the petitioner for being considered in the 2022 recruitment process as an exempted category candidate cannot be allowed.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
