1. None appeared for the petitioner.

2. This is an application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure filed by the petitioner to quash the proceeding and investigation in connection with Hare Street Police Station Case No.253/2015 dated 04.05.2015 under Sections 416/419/420/463/ 464/468/469/471 of the Indian Penal Code corresponding to GR No.978/2015 pending before the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Kolkata.

3. The matter was taken up by a coordinate Bench of this Court on 17th August, 2015 when direction was given to the petitioner to serve copy of the petition upon the opposite party no.2. Mr. Amartya Ghose, learned advocate was requested to appear on behalf of the State-respondent. Since thereafter the matter was never appeared in the list. There is no interim order and the matter has been pending since 2015 and at present is running in the Warning List since 20th February, 2025.

4. Ms. Hossain, learned advocate appears on behalf of the State.

5. In view of long pendency of the matter, this Court finds no reason to keep the matter pending. Hence, the criminal revisional application is dismissed for default.

6. Let a copy of this order be sent to the learned Court below for information.
