Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of Complaint Case No.C/1754 of 2016 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Alipore, South 24 Parganas the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite parties.

The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. It appears that evidence of the petitioner before the learned Trial Court has concluded and upon examination of the accused under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, examination of opposite party witness no.1 is in progress.

Since the matter is on the verge of completion before the learned Trial Court, the learned Trial Court is directed to dispose of the case within six months from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any

unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The revisional application being CRR 2842 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
