Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions dated 12th September 2022 issued by the Inspector-in-Charge, Barasat Police Station addressed to the learned Government Pleader and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the said report that the main gate of the premises where the petitioner resided has been locked.

Barasat Police is hereby directed to break open the lock and permit the petitioner to enter into her premises. The petitioner shall continue to live in the portion of the premises that she was living without in any way encroaching upon any other areas.

Barasat Police shall escort the petitioner and her daughter back to her residence.

The Barasat Police shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area and shall address any complaint that may be received from the petitioner or from the private respondent in this regard.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
