The petitioner is aggrieved that the private respondents are continuing to obstruct him from cultivating his land and his fishery. The petitioner was escorted back into his residence at the instance of this Court. He suffered post-poll violence for having professed the ideology of rival political party. At the instance of the jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal procedure, FIR No. 38 of 2022 dated 26th January, 2022 has been registered against the private respondent nos.5, 6, 7 and 8 by the Jibantala Police Station. The private respondents have been enlarged on bail.

It is submitted that the investigation into the subject FIR is on and Sections 465/468 of the Indian Penal Code have been added.

The petitioner complains that the private respondents are continuing to torture him.

In the above circumstances, the Officer-incharge, Jibantala Police Station shall render necessary

assistance to the petitioner to be able to carry out his cultivation and fishery.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
