It is submitted by the learned Advocate for the Bhatpara Municipality that the gratuity amount payable to the petitioner in terms of the order of this Court has been released and the learned Advocate for the petitioner accepts that the same has been received by the petitioner. Under such circumstances, the contempt application is disposed of. The contempt proceedings are dropped. With the disposal of the contempt application, all interim orders are vacated.

The issue of interest was not a part of the original order of this Court and hence further adjudication on the point of interest is beyond the scope of contempt application.

The petitioner is at liberty to take necessary steps claiming interest on gratuity, in accordance with law. (Shampa Sarkar, J.)
