This instant appeal is preferred challenging the order of conviction and sentence passed by the learned Trial Court, wherein, this appellant was sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 7 (seven) years for commission of offence under Sections 392/397 along with the fine. 3.

From the report submitted by the department it appears that another appeal was preferred by one of the convicts namely, Babaji Nayak, against the self-same order being CRA 156 of 2005 and the said appeal was disposed of by this Court on 7.3.2006.

As per the report submitted by the department that the paper book is yet to be prepared. Mr. Ranadeb Sengupta alongwith Mr. Arup Sarkar, learned Advocates, who usually appear for the State, is requested to represent the State in this case.

Department is directed to send the administrative notice upon the appellant through the concerned Police Station and submit a report on the next date fixed.

Department is directed to communicate this order to the Office of the learned Public Prosecutor, High Court, at Calcutta. 7.
