It is submitted there is no direct evidence connecting him with the crime. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show petitioner was last seen with the deceased. Post Mortem report notes injury on the deceased apart from ligature mark. Petitioner had the key of the room from where the dead body of the deceased was recovered. Other incriminating circumstances revealed in the course of investigation also implicate the petitioner. In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.
