We have considered the materials on record. Victim housewife had been murdered and bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected earlier. On the score of delay we note though petitioner is in custody for more than three years, seven witnesses have already been examined. Delay in the matter cannot be attributed to the prosecution. Offences, if proved, would attract mandatory life imprisonment.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.
