The petitioners seek implementation of the order of demolition passed by the Pradhan, Sarisha Gram Panchayat and communicated to the Sub-Divisional Officer, Diamond Harbour Sub-Division on November 29, in connection with Misc.

The petitioner contends that though the order of demolition was communicated to the Sub-Divisional Officer, but no steps have been taken by the SubDivisional Officer for implementation of the order of demolition.

None represents the private respondent.

Learned advocate representing the Sub-Divisional Officer is not ready with proper instruction. As the Pradhan has already forwarded the documents in connection with the order of demolition, the Sub-Divisional Officer is directed to take steps for

implementing the same in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward copy of the communication dated November 29, 2022 along with other supporting documents to the SubDivisional Officer at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The Officer-in-Charge, Diamond Harbour Police Station is directed to render all necessary help and assistance to the men and agents of the Gram Panchayat and the Sub-Divisional Officer at the time of implementing the order of demolition, if sought for. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
