The State of West Bengal & Ors.

Affidavit-of-service is taken on record.

The allegation of the petitioners is that although they were selected for the post of 'Pranibandhu' under Grahbeta-II Block, neither were they provided with the engagement letter nor were they sent for any training. The petitioners and others filed a grievance in the Grievance Redressal Monitoring System, at the Chief Minister's Office. No steps have yet been taken to resolve the grievance of the petitioners.

The writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Deputy Director, ARD & PO, Paschim Medinipur, who is also the Deputy Project Director, PBGSBS, Paschim Medinipur, to take a decision on basis of the communication received from the Block Livestock

Development Officer, Garhbeta-II & Block Executive Officer, PBGSBS, Garhbeta-II dated May 27, 2022, in accordance with law. Such decision shall be intimated to the petitioners as also the respondent No.4.

The entire exercise shall be completed by the authority within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The Court has not gone into the merits of the claims of the petitioners and the issues raised, shall be decided by the competent authority, independently.

A copy of the writ petition along with a server copy of this order be served upon the Deputy Director, ARD & PO, Paschim Medinipur.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
