1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.
2. The prayer of the petitioner seeking shifting of the electric connection is pending consideration at the end of the respondent authority.
3. The petitioner prays for a direction upon the authority to take into consideration his prayer for imposition of minimum charges on account of shifting of the electrical connection because of his financial disability.
4. The instant writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the District Engineer, North Suburban District, CESC Limited, being the respondent no.2 herein, to consider the prayer of the petitioner for shifting of the electric connection at the earliest but positively within a
period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order upon payment of minimum shifting charges.
5. If the prayer of the petitioner for shifting is allowed, the same shall be subject to compliance of all legal formalities.
6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
7. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
