Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the police authorities are not taking any steps in connection with Tarapith PS Case No. 101/2025 as till date no efforts have been taken to trace out the accused person.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that no information has been filed before Mayureswar Police Station, particularly with regard to threats.

Be that as it may, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that one of the accused persons have been arrested, however two of the accused persons are fleeing away from the process of law.

Be that as it may, it is the prerogative of the police authorities to arrest or not to arrest any person.

I direct that the police authorities would put in efforts to unearth the truth as the incidents complained of involves heinous offences.

The Additional S.P., Rampurhat would monitor the case relating to Tarapith PS Case No. 101/25.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 16674 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record.
