Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner had come to return the victim boy after ransom money was collected. His conduct prima facie shows his role in the kidnapping. His bail prayer was rejected on merits in December, 2022. Under such circumstances and in view of gravity of the offence which, if proved, would attract mandatory life imprisonment, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is thus rejected.
