The petitioner is the accused of N.D.P.S. case No. 192 of 2020 arising out of Raminagar Police Station Case No.300 of 2020 dated 19.08.2020 under Section 21(c)/29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985 (hereinafter described as the said Act) pending before the Learned Judge, Special Court under N.D.P.S. Act cum Additional District Judge, 5th Court, Berhampore, Murshidabad. 2.
The petitioner has filed the instant revision praying for expeditious disposal of the NDPS case instituted against him. 3.
On perusal of the application under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C and considering the prayer made by the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the revisional application can be disposed of here and now in presence of the learned Advocate for the state.

Mr. Sandip Chakraborty, learned P.P-in-Charge is requested to represent the State of West Bengal in the instant case. Copy of the revisional application is served upon the learned P.P-in-Charge. 5.
The legal Remembrancer, Government of West Bengal is requested to regularize the appointment of Mr. Sandip Chakraborty, Adv. 6.
It is submitted by the learned Advocate for the petitioner that the petitioner was arrested in connection with the aforementioned case on 19th August, 2020. After completion of investigation, charge-sheet was submitted being no. 63 of 2021 dated 10.02.2021. Cognizance was taken on 11.02.2021 and on 22.03.2021 was fixed for production and ER/WA. Subsequently, several dates were fixed for production and ER /WA in respect of accused Asit Mondal but were adjourned. Thereafter next date was fixed on 14.07.2022 for production and ER of W.P. & A in respect of accused Asit Mondal.

Since one of the accused namely Asit Mondal has not been arrested yet and writ of proclamation is pending as against the abovenamed accused, the trial court shall consider as to whether the case record should be split up and trial of the present petitioner may be proceeded with.

The instant criminal revision is disposed of with the above order on contest.
