And In Re : Alauddin ...... petitioner Sk. Saifuddin .....for the petitioner Ms. Kum Kum Mitra ....for the State Mr. Aniket Mitra .... for WBSEDCL We have considered materials on record. There are materials to show that the petitioner had illegally abstracted electricity. In spite of liberty given by this Court to deposit a sum of Rs.65,000/- against final assessment bill for unmetered consumption of electricity to the tune of Rs.1,20,428/-, the petitioner has failed and neglected to do so which shows his mala fides.

Under such circumstances, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, application for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Bivas Pattanayak, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
