Mr. Suman Dey ...for the Council Mr. Bhaskar Prasad Vaisya Mr. Ranjan Saha ...for the State It has been submitted by Mr. Tapan Kumar Mukherjee, learned senior advocate that the Council proposes to conduct the 1st semester examination for the petitioners commencing from April 22, 2024 to April 25, 2024, and to conduct the 3rd semester examination from April 22, 2024 to April 29, 2024. The copies of the proposed schedules of examinations have been made over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners.

I am of the view that by this time the petitioners have been provided with a reasonable time to appear in the examination. Accordingly, the Council is directed to publish the examination notification on its website by next Friday (12.04.2024).

Nothing remains to be decided in the writ petition.

Accordingly, WPA 16777 of 2023 is disposed of.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners shall communicate the proposed schedule of the examinations in course of this day.
