The petitioner appearing in person submits that there are some incurable defects in the writ petition field by her. As such, she would not like to press this application and would pray for liberty to file afresh.

The respondent no.13 appearing in person submits that this is an unfortunate case where the respondent no.13 has been implicated as a respondent merely because she has represented her client who is an accused in this case. This petition should not be allowed to be withdrawn. Defamatory allegations have been made in the writ petition against the respondent no.13.

It is the petitioner's prerogative whether she would like to press the application before this Court or not. However, the respondent no.13 shall be at liberty to pursue her relief on an appropriate forum.

On the prayer of the petitioner appearing in person, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.

However, this shall not preclude the petitioner from filing an appropriate application afresh on the selfsame grounds. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
