The petitioner is a contesting candidate of the Panchayat General Elections, 2023. He alleges that there were severe manipulations on the date of counting of the votes. A complaint was lodged before the Election Commissioner. The same is yet to be disposed of. Without going into the merits of the allegation of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Panchayat Election Officer to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner at the earliest but positively by August 2, 2023.

reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation addressed to the

District Panchayat Election Officer at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
